Job Description:
Appcore® is seeking a Software Programmer to design and develop software technologies that make the Cloud easier to use, faster to implement, and capable of even more amazing functionality. The Software Programmer role will help lead our team throughout an agile development lifecycle, developing enterprise class applications, integrating and architecting new systems, and helping to maintain an efficient and effective development process.
Responsibilities:
- Web application and Web Service architecture and development
- Systems Integration design and development
- Steward of our development life cycle including continuous integration, unit-testing process and development tools


Qualifications:

- Passion for developing eloquent and efficient code that delivers user results
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or experience equivalent
- Understanding of engineering best practices
- Demonstrates a high level of code quality, programming aptitude and application knowledge on assignments with increased complexity and scope
- Ability to build and deliver mission critical, 24x7 production software systems
- Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined

Skills Required:

- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of, and experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, PHP
- Candidate can write unit tests for all their code and believe in test driven development
- Understand and can implement continuous integration
- Experience working with JavaScript libraries including: jQuery, YUI, Backbone.js, Underscore, MooTools
- Working knowledge of server infrastructure, and virtualization concepts




Bonus Skills:

- Knowledge of server automation tools including: Puppet, Chef, scripting
- Working knowledge of Java webapps running on Tomcat
- Experience working with and designing high availability and multi zone systems
- Understanding of REST API principles

Job Description:
The help desk technician will be responsible for support tier 1 and tier 2 levels. This person will provide global support over the phone as well as respond to support tickets. The environment is fast paced and rapidly changing, which requires continuous learning of the Cloud products and services Appcore offers.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a resource expert for external customers utilizing Cloud Computing and technical knowledge and expertise to research and resolve issues in a timely manner and to the customer's satisfaction.
- Document and track each issue (in support management system), and escalate issues that require more advanced research and troubleshooting.
- Communicate materials in a clear, concise and complete manner for technical and non-technical audiences
- Work with cutting edge technology in a fast paced, growing organization


Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in relevant field
- Strong Technical Skills
- Passion for Technology
- Systems administrator experience with Linux and Windows
- Experience in virtualization, SaaS, cloud computing a plus
- One (1) year minimum of previous technical Help Desk/Call Center, or customer service experience; phone support experience strongly preferred

- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Ability to independently identify research and resolve complex issues.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and possess a high level of accuracy
- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with other ream members
- Self-directed and able to work with limited supervision
